About The Position

The Procurement Analyst supports the procurement team by reviewing purchase requirements, preparing and managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring purchasing activities comply with company policies and meet internal stakeholder needs. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site work at 2941 Fairview Park Drive in Falls Church, Virginia, a couple of times a week. The contract duration is 12 months, with a standard work schedule and overtime expected.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and internal partners.
Basic analytical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Excel or similar tools.
Interest in supply chain, purchasing, operations, or supplier management.
High school diploma.
Ability to work on-site in Falls Church, Virginia, a couple of times a week.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience purchasing IT products and professional services.
Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Coupa, Ivalua, and Costpoint.

Responsibilities

Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Create, process, and manage purchase orders within the company's procurement system.
Assist in supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and quality service.
Confirm and document supplier payment terms and ensure alignment with internal financial policies.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve procurement-related inquiries.
Support invoice and payment resolution by addressing discrepancies, communicating with suppliers, and coordinating with Accounts Payable.
Maintain accurate and accessible supplier records, contracts, and data.
Conduct basic spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and trends.
Help monitor supplier performance and escalate issues when needed.
Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance procurement efficiency and compliance.
Ensure procurement activities align with company policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.
