About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. Due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required.

Requirements

4-8+ years experience with Bachelors in related field OR 2-6+ years experience with Masters in related field OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 8-12 years relevant progressive experience.
6+ years of combined experience in enterprise governance, architecture/engineering, or project, program, or portfolio management
Demonstrated expertise leading diverse teams and projects, prioritizing, and assigning tasks, tracking, and reporting statuses, and maturing and optimizing processes
Analyzing technical and functional requirements
Managing multiple large-scale projects and delivering products in accordance with established schedules and budgets
Developing and maintaining technical documentation (processes, procedures, policies, workflows, roadmaps, project plans, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and skilled in presenting technical concepts to senior leadership/executive management
Active PMP (or equivalent) or ability to obtain certification within in 90 days of starting position
Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start.
Candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a CI poly.

Nice To Haves

PMP, ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), (CIS-ITSM), ITIL Foundation (V3 or V4), Certified Scrum Master, Advanced ITIL training or certifications.
Formal training or certification in agile methodologies, e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban

Responsibilities

Analyzing customer demands against the OCIO project portfolio and providing recommendations to align investments with organizational objectives
Pivoting delivery strategies in response to changing business or technological landscapes and resolving conflicting priorities
Developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule containing project milestones, major upgrades, end of life dates, and significant events
Establishing, implementing, and maturing project and programmatic processes and workflows that integrate with enterprise automation tools
Evaluating project compliance with established policies and providing recommendations to remediate deviations as needed
Developing, distributing, and maintaining project, governance, and programmatic documentation
Developing briefings and presenting metrics, reports, and statuses to OCIO senior leadership and IT stakeholders
