About The Position

This Information Technology Operations role supports the Louisville Assembly Plant as part of the plant’s Site IT team. The position provides hands-on support to manufacturing operations and a broad range of IT infrastructure and application services used daily. It also contributes knowledge and experience to process-improvement efforts supporting flexible and lean manufacturing, while offering the opportunity to build IT skills and become proficient in manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• A two-year or higher college degree.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks or projects.
• Experience with, or willingness to learn, client Windows and Linux server administration.
• Prior work experience in a similar industry or in a manufacturing environment.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Nice To Haves

• Plant floor manufacturing experience.
• Plant floor automation experience, such as Rockwell Control systems or PLCs.
• PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Support a multi-shift operation in a manufacturing plant.
• Provide technical support to plant business customers throughout a manufacturing space.
• Interface with corporate IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
• Support Plant Floor Systems and Corporate teams in resolving incidents.
• Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation.
