About The Position

We're looking for an IT Operations Specialist who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and keeping systems running at their best. This role supports our restaurant teams across multiple locations by ensuring our technology is reliable, secure, and ready to support daily operations. Whether you're troubleshooting a point-of-sale issue, supporting a new restaurant opening, upgrading equipment, or partnering with vendors on technology improvements, you'll play a critical role in helping our teams focus on what they do best: delivering great guest experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a multi-site or field support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting business-critical technology systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting restaurants, retail, hospitality, or other multi-unit operations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant technology platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ticketing systems, and device deployment tools.
  • Knowledge of networking, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or Cisco certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary IT support resource for restaurant and support center teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving POS systems, kitchen display systems (KDS), payment processing equipment, printers, handheld devices, and related technology.
  • Respond quickly to technology issues that impact restaurant operations and guest service.
  • Travel to restaurant locations as needed to provide hands-on support and troubleshooting.
  • Partner with restaurant leaders to identify and resolve recurring technology challenges.
  • Install, maintain, and upgrade hardware and technology equipment across restaurant locations.
  • Support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and internet connectivity.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 administration, user access, and system support.
  • Manage equipment inventory, device deployments, and technology lifecycle planning.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues before they impact operations.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and service providers to resolve issues and support projects.
  • Assist with restaurant openings, remodels, system upgrades, and technology rollouts.
  • Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Deliver friendly, professional, and timely support to restaurant and support center employees.
  • Train team members on technology systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • Communicate technical information in a way that's easy to understand.
  • Build strong relationships with restaurant leaders, support center teams, and external partners.
