We are seeking for an IT Operations & Field Support Specialist to join our team. This role combines network deployment, AV systems management, and field-based IT support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both independently and on-site, managing infrastructure, and delivering reliable technical support in dynamic environments. IT Operations & Field Support Specialist will have an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule out of our Raleigh office and be able to travel to our major offices on the East Coast.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT operations, network support, or field IT roles
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki systems (required)
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS)
  • Experience with AV systems and event technology support
  • Familiarity with telecom/ISP coordination and internet service setup
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours for events
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and support firmwide network and infrastructure solutions, including firewalls, switches, and wireless environments across multiple locations
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain secure, reliable connectivity
  • Set up, manage, and support audiovisual systems for conference rooms, hybrid meetings, and live events
  • Provide hands-on IT and AV support for firm-hosted events, including travel to event sites as needed
  • Assist with temporary network setups, user connectivity, and real-time issue resolution in fast-paced environments
  • Coordinate internet and telecommunications services, working with vendors on provisioning, VoIP, and connectivity solutions
  • Deliver day-to-day end-user IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity needs
  • Maintain documentation, asset inventories, and assist with IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
