About The Position

Cadence is the clinical AI company automating the treatment of chronic disease. Its Clinical Intelligence takes on the routine, high-volume work of chronic care – monitoring patients, surfacing risks, and coordinating action – so clinicians can focus on the decisions that require them. Grounded in partnerships with more than 20 leading health systems, deep EMR integrations, dedicated medical group, and experience serving a population of more than 100,000 patients, the system learns from real-world care delivery, improving as it scales. Cadence has been recognized by TIME as one of the Top 100 HealthTech Companies and by LinkedIn as a Top Startup (#4, 2025). The Role We are seeking an IT Operations Administrator to deliver excellent employee support and help scale IT operations across a distributed remote workforce. This is a hands-on role spanning endpoint management, identity and access, SaaS administration, and employee onboarding and offboarding. You’ll independently own complex issues and operational improvements from investigation through implementation. You’ll combine strong technical troubleshooting with practical use of automation and AI-assisted tools to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and help employees work securely and effectively.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, endpoint management, or technical support
  • Hands-on experience supporting macOS and iOS/iPadOS, including remote troubleshooting and endpoint administration, and experience with Iru/Kandji, Jamf, or a comparable MDM platform
  • Experience administering Okta, Google Workspace, and other modern SaaS applications, with working knowledge of SSO, provisioning, groups, and access lifecycle management, and the ability to troubleshoot across devices, browsers, identity, and integrations
  • Experience delivering improvements to IT systems or workflows, including assessing dependencies, testing changes, communicating employee impact, and validating results, with demonstrated ability to own complex issues independently and judge when to escalate
  • Experience building or adapting scripts or workflow automations to reduce repetitive work, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain them; familiarity with GAM, APIs, or scripting languages such as Bash or Python is preferred
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and experience working in a distributed, fast-paced environment while explaining technical issues to employees with varying levels of technical familiarity
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve IT workflows, with sound judgment about sensitive data, output validation, and when human review is needed

Responsibilities

  • Own employee technology support from investigation through verified resolution across Slack, ticketing systems, and remote sessions; troubleshoot complex macOS, iOS/iPadOS, browser, connectivity, authentication, and SaaS issues, communicate clear next steps, and participate in the IT on-call rotation for urgent issues outside normal business hours
  • Manage the employee technology lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding; coordinate timely account and access changes, device provisioning, replacements, returns, and remote logistics
  • Administer company endpoints through Iru/Kandji, Jamf, or a similar MDM platform; own software deployments, configuration profiles, OS update rollouts, device health, and compliance follow-up, including testing changes and resolving exceptions
  • Own day-to-day administration and operational health of Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and related SaaS platforms; troubleshoot configuration, SSO, provisioning, groups, permissions, and integrations with an understanding of downstream impacts
  • Maintain accurate device and application inventories, conduct access reviews, and coordinate license clean-up with application owners; apply least-privilege practices and verify that access changes are complete
  • Build, test, document, and maintain scripts and workflow automations, using administrative tools and AI-assisted tooling to reduce repetitive work and improve reliability; validate AI-generated outputs, protect sensitive data, and ensure automations have monitoring, failure handling, and clear ownership
  • Independently identify recurring issues, prioritize improvements, and drive changes from investigation through pilots, employee communications, deployment, and validation; measure results, plan for recovery, and maintain practical runbooks and self-service guidance while coordinating with IT Engineering, Security, People, and business teams
