About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and customer-oriented Network Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance for customers. This role is critical in maintaining the stability, security, and availability of Internet services.

Requirements

Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
A Valid Driver’s license
High school diploma required
General understanding of network design, IP addressing, subnetting, and network protocols.
Technical and mechanical aptitude.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree, technical certification, or 2+ years of relevant networking experience preferred.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting switches and routers preferred.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIA, or equivalent are a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network connectivity issues involving switches, routers, and firewalls.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues before they impact users.
Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects.
Configure and maintain VLANs, routing, and switching.
Perform cabling, patching, and physical network infrastructure maintenance.
Document network configurations, diagrams, procedures, and changes.
Support VoIP and unified communications systems.
Work with vendors and service providers to troubleshoot circuit and connectivity issues.
Ensure compliance with company security standards, policies, and best practices.
Respond to network-related outages as needed.
