About The Position

The IT Manager will lead the day-to-day responsibilities of the IT department. This role is responsible for managing all incoming IT service requests, overseeing project execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and continuously improving IT processes to support company growth. The IT Manager provides team leadership and hands-on support, balancing operational support with strategic project delivery.

Requirements

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and background in manufacturing
  • Stays current on technology trends such as: Mobile, DevOps, Agile, Web Services
  • Minimum of 5 years IT experience
  • Management experience
  • Experience with standardized and optimized system integrations
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / D365 preferred
  • IT project management experience preferred
  • Other preferred experiences include, workflow automation (eg; Powershell), AWS Cloud, Infor ION, Azure Web Services, backups, SQL and O365
  • IT Certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and prioritize all incoming IT support requests, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to track service levels, ticket resolution times, and recurring issues.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of IT projects across departments
  • Track project progress, allocate tasks, and report status to Director of Digital Transformation
  • Supervise and support the IT team.
  • Facilitate team stand-ups, workload planning and project meetings.
  • Determine the tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the IT department, including assessing and anticipating technology projects and resource needs. Align on these goals with the Director of Digital Transformation.
  • Propose hardware/software solutions and system developments to accomplish the company's business objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture that aligns with Byrne values.
  • Responsible for development and documentation of IT processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols, data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products purchased for the corporation.
  • Ensure an uptime performance of 99% is supported by strong IT operations tools, controls, and software design.
  • All other duties as assigned.
