About The Position

The IT Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all technology-related matters across the organization. This person will maintain our cloud-based Microsoft 365/Azure environment, manage hardware and network infrastructure in multiple physical sites, coordinate with outside consultants, and provide direct support to users. We have multiple partners acquired recently and a need for better standardization across regions / sites. We are growing our use of sophisticated systems, analysis tools, AI and production automation. The new role will report to our Chief Transformation Officer and will be a key leader for the company’s growth. All employees are expected to demonstrate the companies core values. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who can balance day-to-day IT needs with planning for scalable growth and improved systems performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, ideally supporting multi-site or field-based operations.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience managing outsourced IT vendors and coordinating multiple technology projects simultaneously.
  • Hands-on troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Excellent communication and patience working with and training non-technical users.
  • Team player comfortable with fast paced working environment managing multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support all company IT systems, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and other key business applications.
  • Maintain branch-level networks, including internet connectivity, managed switches, Wi-Fi access, camera systems and other physical infrastructure.
  • Oversee hardware lifecycle management—laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers, and scanners.
  • Provide direct user support for hardware and software troubleshooting, account setup, and system access.
  • Assist with all production software optimization including Aspire (Service Titan), Acumatica, ADP Workforce Now, HubSpot and other production apps.
  • Coordinate technical aspects of production hardware and software such as vehicle GPS, automated mowers and other R&D.
  • Manage relationships and performance of third-party IT service providers and consultants.
  • Oversee technical integration activities for new company acquisitions (email/domain setup, systems migration, device deployment). Spend time on site during initial conversion activities.
  • Develop and enforce technology standards, security protocols, and best practices across all locations.
  • Conduct end-user training and communicate clearly with staff at varying levels of technical understanding, security and threat awareness.
  • Track IT inventory, licensing, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource use and cost management.
  • Partner with HR on building robust on-boarding and off-boarding procedures for IT.
  • Help ensure the company is best protected from outages, cyber-attacks and other risks.
