About The Position

Goodwill Columbus is seeking an experienced IT Manager to deliver customer-focused technology support and lead technology initiatives. The role connects technology with the employees, programs, retail operations, and community services that depend on it. The IT Manager leads IT support and service delivery, coordinates technology projects and vendors, and helps ensure employees have reliable and effective tools.

Requirements

• Experience in IT support, service desk operations, technology management, or a related role.
• Experience managing support-ticket systems and issue resolution.
• Experience leading technology projects and coordinating vendors.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.
• Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CAPM, PMP, ITSM, or related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT support and service delivery.
• Manage support requests, service levels, and managed service provider (MSP) relationships.
• Coordinate deployment and support of computers, mobile devices, printers, POS systems, and IoT devices.
• Maintain technology inventories and lifecycle management processes.
• Lead technology projects, including upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
• Gather business requirements and translate needs into project plans.
• Track project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Develop procedures, documentation, and knowledge-base resources.
• Monitor service metrics and drive continuous improvement.
