About The Position

inKind is transforming restaurant financing and customer engagement through a fintech platform that provides restaurants with growth capital while helping consumers discover and enjoy dining experiences nationwide. As we continue to scale, we're looking for an experienced IT Manager to own and evolve the technology experience for our employees. This is an opportunity to shape a growing IT function, improve how we operate, and build the systems and processes that will support inKind's next stage of growth. This is a hands-on, player-coach role for someone who loves both building and operating. You'll own corporate IT across employee technology, identity and access, endpoint management, SaaS applications, IT security, office technology, vendors, and employee support. You'll assess what's working today, identify gaps, introduce better systems and automation, and create scalable processes as the company grows. We're looking for someone equally comfortable setting IT strategy, configuring an MDM policy, troubleshooting an employee issue, evaluating a vendor, or improving an onboarding workflow. You'll also partner closely with our Platform Engineering and Security teams on areas requiring deeper infrastructure or security expertise.

  • Strong knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, endpoint security, and SaaS administration.
  • Working knowledge of WiFi, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing vendors, hardware, software licensing, and IT spend.
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable being both a leader and the person who jumps in to solve the problem.

  • Experience with Apple Business Manager, Ubiquiti/UniFi, Tailscale, or ITSM platforms.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2, PCI, or similar compliance programs.
  • Experience using scripting, APIs, automation, or AI to make IT more efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve our internal IT environment.
  • Support a predominantly macOS environment and manage MDM, endpoint security, patching, and device lifecycle.
  • Administer Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Own IAM, SSO/MFA, onboarding/offboarding, and employee access.
  • Build scalable IT processes, documentation, service standards, and automation.
  • Troubleshoot employee technology, office WiFi, connectivity, conference rooms, and remote access.
  • Manage hardware, software licensing, vendors, contracts, and IT spend.
