IT Manager

4CreeksVisalia, CA
Hybrid

About The Position

4Creeks is looking for a self-starter to own our IT operations as the single face of IT for all staff, with high ownership of the environment and support to drive improvements. This is not a behind-the-scenes role. You'll walk the floor, set up workstations, troubleshoot hardware in person, deploy conference room systems, and make sure every office feels well-supported. Our MSP handles remote support, ticketing, and Level 1 — your value is being present, approachable, and hands-on. Reports to the Operations Manager. Co-managed IT environment supporting 200+ staff across Visalia, Clovis, San Luis Obispo, Tulare, Hanford, and Denver, CO.

Requirements

  • In-person hardware troubleshooting
  • Computer deployment tools and processes
  • Identity management: How Entra ID, M365, and on-prem AD work together — managing users, groups, and policies across them
  • Microsoft 365 administration: Mailboxes, licensing, Teams, SharePoint, day-to-day tenant management
  • Networking fundamentals: Enough to troubleshoot connectivity and have informed conversations with the MSP
  • Vendor and contract management: Software renewals, license tracking, and vendor relationships
  • IT admin or MSP backgrounds

Nice To Haves

  • ImmyBot or ConnectWise experience

Responsibilities

  • In-Person Staff Support: Primary onsite IT resource across Central California offices — troubleshoot, deploy, and configure hardware in person (desktops, laptops, monitors, docks, printers, peripherals, conference room/A/V)
  • Workstation deployments, replacements, and desk setups (including hotel desks)
  • Deliver a great first-day experience for new hires with equipment ready
  • MSP & Vendor Management: Own the MSP relationship — set expectations; they execute remote support
  • Primary contact for key software vendor account managers — track contracts, licensing, seat counts, and coordinate renewals
  • Procurement & Asset Management: Manage IT equipment inventory, purchasing, and supplies — keep asset tracking current and upload expense receipts
  • Enterprise Software & Training: Application champion for enterprise tools (M365, intranet, cloud storage, collaboration software) — run training and serve as the go-to for software questions
  • Infrastructure, Security & Projects: Lead major IT projects with the MSP — software rollouts, server purchases, new office setups, security upgrades
  • Maintain network infrastructure and manage security/accounts (Entra ID, M365, Active Directory)
  • Identify cross-team improvements (ticketing, software use, onboarding)
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document systems, processes, and resolutions; provide weekly updates to People Operations
  • Occasional after-hours support and project work; no direct reports — you coordinate the MSP, not run their help desk

Benefits

  • Full employee health coverage (50% coverage for dependents)
  • Company 401(k) contribution
  • Participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP)
  • Performance bonuses
