About The Position

Rocking Horse Community Health Center (RHCHC) is seeking an IT Manager to join their team. This Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serves populations in Clark and Madison County. The IT Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing all computer technology, including network, hardware, software, and security. This includes installing, maintaining, supporting, testing, and repairing system hardware/software and network infrastructure. The role actively supports all aspects of the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or minimum of three years related experience and training preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, MCSE, VCP, or CISSP are recommended.
  • Current Ohio Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written oral instructions.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variable sin standardized situations.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP Network topologies, VLANs and WAN/LAN switches, routers, firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), network monitoring tools, DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, and SSL.
  • Technical proficiency in configuration of ASA Firewalls and network switches using either GUI interface or CLI.
  • Experience in administering Mac, Linux, and Windows systems that includes Windows 7, 10 workstations and Windows 2008/2012/2016 servers.
  • Proven skills in repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and compliant liquidation of computers, hard drives, servers, networking equipment, PBX system, and more.
  • Ability to troubleshoot advanced networking issues, manage high-level projects, mentor Technical Support Technicians, experience with data cabling, systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments, telecom/PBX administration, and root cause analysis in problem solving.
  • An individual whom poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or others in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and managerial skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supports and manages all computer technology including network, hardware, software and security.
  • Installs, maintains, supports, tests, and repairs system hardware/software and network infrastructure.
  • Actively supports all aspects of the organization.
  • Manages Windows Server Administrative Tools, such as maintaining a clean Active Directory structure, creating and deploying Group Policy Objects, creating DHCP scopes for VLANs, creating static DNS entries, and more.
  • Administers Mac, Linux, and Windows systems that includes Windows 7, 10 workstations and Windows 2008/2012/2016 servers.
  • Repairs, troubleshoots, deploys, and compliantly liquidates computers, hard drives, servers, networking equipment, PBX system, and more.
  • Troubleshoots advanced networking issues.
  • Manages high-level projects.
  • Mentors Technical Support Technicians.
  • Performs duties within the mission, vision, and values as defined by the Board of Directors.
  • Understands the role of Federally Qualified Health Centers as a safety net for all persons without regard for their ability to pay for services.
  • Appreciates patient-centered care in a medical home.
