This role is responsible for defining and managing the store hardware lifecycle roadmap, including OS strategy and standards, in partnership with architecture teams. The IT Manager will track End of Support (EOS)/End of Extended Support (EOES)/support milestones and develop multi-year refresh strategies to remediate legacy devices and mitigate risk. The position involves leading annual device certification, validation, and lab testing to ensure compliance and readiness, and governing hardware deployments across locations, including approval of deployment models, schedules, and execution plans. The role also entails leading large-scale hardware refresh and rollout projects using multiple delivery methodologies, managing end-to-end hardware procurement, and acting as the primary owner for hardware vendor management. This includes contract/Statement of Work (SOW) reviews and performance management in collaboration with Legal and IT Contracts. The IT Manager will develop and manage detailed project and workstream plans, define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints. The role requires preparing and presenting executive-level status reports, partnering with various stakeholders for alignment and successful delivery, and providing leadership to internal teams and external deployment partners. Continuous improvement through process optimization and capturing lessons learned is also a key aspect of this position.
