About The Position

We're looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Lab Computing Analyst to provide on-site IT support within a regulated laboratory environment. This is a hands-on role that blends traditional IT support with compliance, consulting, and stakeholder coordination — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and science.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in a lab support role working directly with scientists, vendors, and lab instruments
3+ years supporting a Windows environment
Experience supporting GxP machines and operating within a GxP-regulated environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across complex instrument and technology issues
Excellent customer service and communication skills — written and verbal
Ability to manage tasks across multiple concurrent projects
Familiarity with laboratory safety practices

Responsibilities

Perform break/fix support for all instrument-connected systems and serve as the primary technical contact for field service engineers and external vendors
Implement Windows-based security policies and ensure adherence to corporate compliance programs through periodic reporting
Maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PCs, software, and other environment-relevant assets
Support validation and compliance activities (IOPQ) and provide technical subject matter expertise for new system validation and change management
Gather and analyze requirements, assess current-state processes, and recommend process improvements aligned with industry best practices
Evaluate vendor solutions and facilitate proof-of-concept demos
Coordinate with internal and external service groups, providing weekly planning schedules and participating in monthly operational reviews and quarterly metrics reporting with department heads
Perform preventative maintenance on systems based on client schedules, as applicable
