This position learns how to interpret, analyze, recommend and implement management of information systems at an entry-level; develops and implements computer software application programs and systems for user departments; implements and maintains network infrastructure, applications and computer systems, and performs related professional and technical work as required. The incumbent works within broad policy and organizational guidelines under the direction and control of the System Administrators to plan, implement, and project manage, reporting progress of major activities and projects through periodic conferences and meetings. The work is considered sedentary in nature and involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a recurring basis, and occasionally more up to 50 pounds, and routine keyboard operations. The work requires the following physical abilities to perform the essential job functions: balancing, crouching, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, mental acuity, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, visual acuity, and walking. Work environment involves exposure to no known environmental hazards; and is safe and secure that may periodically have unpredicted requirements or demands.
