About The Position

Dot Foods is seeking a creative, tech-wiz, and detail-oriented individual for an IT Internship in B2B Integrations. This role involves job-shadowing within the team to deliver solutions and improve functionality, leading assigned projects, and participating in a team project with other interns. The intern will engage in activities to increase efficiencies through electronic communications (EDI, OCR, and flat-files), problem-solve by researching and analyzing data, review and update reports, and present project findings. The position also requires applying lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste.

Requirements

Good standing as full-time student actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university
Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Creative & innovative thinking

Nice To Haves

Degree work towards a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
Effective, professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Leadership experience

Responsibilities

Job-shadow within the B2B Integrations team to deliver solutions and improve functionality
Lead and own assigned project(s) within B2B Integrations
Participate in a team project with other interns
Participate in activities related to increasing efficiencies for Dot and its trading partners through electronic communications (EDI, OCR and flat-files)
Problem-solve through research, collecting data, and analyzing to determine best processes and methods
Review, update, and track a variety of reports
Present project information at the culmination of the internship to communicate research, findings, analysis, and any recommendations
Apply lean thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
