About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to join our IT team in Vancouver, WA for the summer. This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in IT operations, infrastructure setup, and user support within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Waste Connections is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services in mostly exclusive and secondary markets. Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong interest in IT infrastructure and user support
Basic understanding of networking and device management
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and mobile operating systems (iOS/Android)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

Setting up PCs and laptops for imaging and deployment
Assisting with user setup in ManageEngine and Active Directory
Coordinating with subcontractors, low-voltage contractors, and electricians on IT-related projects
Performing basic setup and configuration of networking equipment
Providing user support for Microsoft 365 Office Suite applications
Assisting with Intune setup on iOS and Android devices
