About The Position

We are looking for a full time, IT Intern to start with us this summer. The ideal candidate is someone who is a graduating senior or has 1-2 years of experience with an IT-related four-year degree. $20-25/ hour depending on experience and 30-40 hours per week. Candidate must be able to commute a few times a week to our Downtown DC office (Wharf).

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong willingness to learn new technology

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, or similar enterprise tools preferred
• Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to OTJ team members on hardware, software, and basic network issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance
• Provide training and support to team members on the use of computer systems and software
• Research and recommend solutions for technical problems
