About The Position

Storylink is a brand engagement agency located in the Twin Cities. We design and build custom exhibits, digital assets, and brand experiences. We have a great company culture and room to grow. If you enjoy learning, helping others, and working with a team, we would love to meet you. In this role, you will support employees with common technology needs. This may include helping with computers, printers, software, mobile devices, internet connections, and other basic IT issues. This internship is a great chance to gain real-world IT experience in a creative and fast-moving workplace. You will learn from the team, ask questions, and build useful technical skills.

Requirements

  • Current college student studying IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Administration, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of computers, software, operating systems, and networks
  • Comfortable using Windows computers and Microsoft 365
  • Interest in help desk support, computer support, networking, or cybersecurity
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Able to work alone and with a team
  • Able to keep company information private

Nice To Haves

  • Previous help desk, campus IT, retail technology, or customer support experience
  • Basic knowledge of IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi
  • Experience fixing printer, scanner, monitor, or docking station issues
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, or similar tools
  • Interest in cybersecurity and keeping systems safe
  • Experience building, fixing, or upgrading computers
  • Coursework or certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+

Responsibilities

  • Live the Core Values using EOS philosophy
  • Help employees with basic computer, software, printer, email, and internet issues
  • Help set up computers, monitors, phones, printers, and other equipment
  • Help troubleshoot Wi-Fi, ethernet, and other simple network issues
  • Help install and update common software
  • Help with password resets and basic user account requests
  • Write down IT problems, steps taken, and solutions clearly
  • Help with routine IT tasks, such as updates, equipment checks, and cable organization
  • Help support meeting room technology
  • Help with other IT tasks and projects assigned
