About The Position
The IT Intern will provide technical support to our office staff and field teams. You will work directly with our leadership to maintain our digital infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure our technology is helping us serve our customers efficiently.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in (or a recent graduate of) a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Windows OS, Google Workspace, and mobile device management (iOS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, you must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to work on-site at our Fort Wayne office.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff with hardware issues (laptops, tablets, printers) and software troubleshooting.
- Help maintain and update our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and project management tools.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining the office Wi-Fi and local network.
- Help set up workstations and mobile devices for new employees and field crews.
- Create simple "how-to" guides for staff on common tech processes.
- Support the implementation of new technology initiatives as needed.
