About The Position

The IT Intern will support the IT and Infrastructure team with technical tasks and basic troubleshooting. This role provides experience in an IT environment and is ideal for students interested in learning how IT systems are managed and supported. You will gain practical exposure to IT tools and processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Computer Science or IT degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must have experience working with computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day IT support tasks, including hardware setup, software installation, system updates, and user onboarding.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for common technical issues such as network connectivity problems, application access issues, and basic hardware malfunctions.
• Support IT ticketing systems by logging, tracking, prioritizing, and resolving simple service requests and incidents.
• Assist with the setup, maintenance, and organization of laptops and desktops.
• Support basic networking tasks, such as verifying connectivity, assisting with cable management, and documenting network configurations.
• Help maintain and organize storage and equipment.
