About The Position

We're looking for a strategic and results-driven IT Infrastructure & Operations Director to join our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and holding a seat on the IT Board, you will serve as a key bridge between high-level business strategy and technical execution. In this role, you will maintain global strategic oversight of modern Cloud Environments while directly managing a multidisciplinary team spanning Network, Systems, Workstations, Telephony, and Onsite IT services, as well as acting as a collaborative partner and governance lead for local IT departments across the EMEA region.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5+ years managing matrixed, international teams (Network, Systems, Helpdesk)
• Deep technical and architectural expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP (Architect-level certifications highly preferred)
• Solid understanding of modern enterprise networking, VoIP telephony systems, and endpoint management/workstation lifecycle management
• Proven track record of managing local and remote teams and collaborating effectively across diverse EMEA regional cultures
• Expert knowledge and practical experience with ITIL v4 and Agile frameworks
• Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget control, telecom/hardware procurement, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps)
• Demonstrated ability to drive high team performance, tracking key metrics such as MTTR, CSAT, and infrastructure uptime SLAs

Responsibilities

• Maintain global strategic oversight of modern Cloud Environments and bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution
• Hold a seat on the IT Board to align global infrastructure investments with organizational goals and manage the comprehensive I&O budget using FinOps
• Direct, lead, and mentor multidisciplinary teams covering Systems (Cloud First), Network, Telephony, Workstations, and France Onsite support
• Partner with local IT departments across the EMEA region to harmonize technology stacks, share best practices, and drive unified infrastructure standards
• Drive the migration from legacy infrastructure to automated, software-defined cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Oversee global corporate and cloud networking architectures (SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs) and global unified communications (VoIP/RingCentral)
• Define endpoint management strategy (MDM, Ivanti), provisioning workflows, and standard operating environments for end-users
• Ensure high service availability (target 99.9%+) and manage Incident, Problem, and Change Management protocols following ITIL v4 standards
• Develop, maintain, and test robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) plans tailored for cloud and hybrid environments
• Partner with the CISO to embed DevSecOps security principles and ensure strict alignment with GDPR, NIS2, and regional European compliance mandates
