About The Position

The Network and Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the network infrastructure for offices, stores, and warehouses/stockrooms. Moreover, an IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist is also responsible for supporting locally hosted servers and office network & server hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of new solutions and improve the resilience of the current environment
  • Configure and install various network devices, servers, and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, quality of service) as well as servers and specialized Prada hardware
  • Help maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with network architects on network optimization
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including hardware and software problems
  • Provide remote support to on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation, maintenance, or disposal
  • Collaborating with other IT professionals within the organization and with third-party partners to ensure problem resolution, project deployment, and infrastructure enhancement
  • Support various network projects as a member of the IT Infrastructure Service Desk
  • Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access
  • Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects
  • Undertake capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the IT department and ensuring that systems and networks are running smoothly
  • Monitoring raised IT Tickets and ensuring that SLA are being followed.
