About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a IT Infrastructure Engineer for our Information Technology team in Somerville, MA. This position reports to Associate Director of IT Operations. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure, including multi-site environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure (Entra ID, Intune, Defender).
• Strong attention to detail and an appetite for continual learning.
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/Wireless and network security technologies.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation

Nice To Haves

• Additional certifications preferred (Microsoft, Aruba, Fortinet).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support multi-site IT infrastructure spanning branch offices, HQ, and Azure to optimize performance, security, and user accessibility.
• Own and evolve the network environment including: firewalls, VPNs, switches, and enterprise wireless including a near-term transition to Zero Trust architecture.
• Contribute at a high level to Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, advancing the team’s capabilities across these platforms.
• Support on-premises infrastructure including VMware and storage environments.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for infrastructure escalations and a mentor to junior team members.
