IT IMAC Technician - Jersey City, NJ
About The Position
Our enterprise-level client is seeking to add three IT IMAC Technicians to the team in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract role, expected to end in December 2026. The role is onsite in Jersey City, NJ. The project involves an upgrade to the office's desk furniture, enabling users to have sit/stand functionality. Technicians will be responsible for building elements of the furniture, decommissioning existing desk IT hardware, building the desk component, attaching it, and then re-installing the IT hardware. Most of this work will be carried out between 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM ET on weekdays. An additional resource will be needed in the mornings from 7:00 AM to offer early support to users who have had their desks updated, in case of any connectivity issues.
Requirements
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Must pass an intensive background check (including a 20-year background check and credit check) which could take 4-6 weeks.
- Must pass a drug test.
Responsibilities
- Decommission existing desk IT hardware.
- Build furniture to enable sit/stand functionality.
- Recommission desk IT hardware.
- Test hardware on desks to ensure fully connected and signed (VDI, Monitor, Peripherals).
- Provide early support for IMAC users.
- Decommission and recommission desks including desk build.
