About The Position
Our enterprise-level client in Jersey City, NJ, has an immediate need to add an Edge Engineer to the team. This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension, requiring onsite work in Jersey City, NJ. A drug and background check is required. The role operates on a hybrid model, with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote. The pay rate is $65-70 W2 per hour.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 7+ years working in a Windows Desktop Engineering environment
- 5+ years expertise in Microsoft Intune / Google Workspace / Omnissa Workspace One
- Knowledge of SCCM OSD is preferred
- Good knowledge on end user hardware arena across software and hardware
- Scripting (PowerShell) skills to develop automated processes
- Ability to create and maintain quality documentation and have a structured, organized approach to work
- Use of Agile project methodology
Nice To Haves
- Thin client experience preferred
- Knowledge of standard testing tools and methodologies is preferred
Responsibilities
- In-depth troubleshooting of Windows Platform and providing solutions for production environment.
- Work with product vendors to understand their product roadmaps, raise necessary bugs and feature requests for product enhancement.
- Develop automated processes using scripting (PowerShell).
- Create and maintain quality documentation.
- Utilize Agile project methodology.
