About The Position

BETA Technologies is seeking an IT Support Technician to join its helpdesk team. This frontline role provides timely, professional end-user support and an exceptional customer experience while helping resolve technology issues across the business. The position supports BETA’s mission of revolutionizing electric aviation and its commitment to sustainability.

Requirements

Proficiency troubleshooting Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
Experience administering and provisioning user accounts and devices through Entra ID / Active Directory and mobile device management software.
Exposure to Google Admin, Microsoft Entra, and Microsoft Intune.
Strong technical writing skills for creating clear, detailed documentation.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to MDM software for iOS / MacOS and Android.
In-depth knowledge troubleshooting workplace communication tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with Atlassian products such as Confluence and Jira.
Familiarity with ERP, PLM, and ALM software such as PLEX, Polarion, 3DX, and Solidworks.
Foundational understanding of common PowerShell scripting.
Ability to troubleshoot or diagnose basic network issues.
Experience installing and supporting audiovisual equipment.

Responsibilities

Resolve end-user issues involving computer hardware, software, audiovisual systems, basic networking, printing, and other technology.
Use an electronic ticketing system to open, close, escalate, and track requests and activities across the business.
Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues and provide high-quality service to users.
Perform remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques and relevant questions.
Plan and conduct new-hire training on hardware and productivity software.
Maintain and install conference-room audiovisual systems and related equipment.
Create and maintain detailed IT documentation.
