About The Position

As IT Help Desk Technician, you’ll onboard new team members, set up, replace, and assist with mobile devices, help people with desk moves, setups, and hardware swaps, and document processes and create training materials. This position is the entry point into Morris-Jenkins IT! There’s tons of room to grow, learn new things, and take on new responsibilities as you go. Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of general customer service experience in a technology-oriented environment.
  • Hands‑on experience supporting smartphones and tablets.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical skill levels.
  • Commitment to company values and confidentiality requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Familiar with mobile device management platforms (Samsung Knox, Intune).
  • Experience or interest in taking on lead or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Industry Certification (Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar.).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize between enterprise initiatives and routine IT operations, with great attention to detail, uncompromised quality, and a sense of urgency.
  • Experience managing IT projects or process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new team members, including setting up equipment and accounts and ensuring new employees know how to get help.
  • Set up, replace, and assist with mobile devices for employees throughout Charlotte, NC and Greenville, SC.
  • Assist with desk moves, setups, and hardware swaps for employees.
  • Document processes and create training materials.
