About The Position

The IT Team at Grand Pacific Resorts is offering a PAID Summer Internship for a few Help Desk Intern positions. You will be assisting the Team with a project where we will be replacing PCs with new PCs at our resort locations in the Southern California region. You will also assist with help desk requests to support our users with technical support needs. This is a great opportunity to see first-hand how an IT department operates, see the technology in action and get involved with some of the day to day problem solving activities! As part of joining the team, we will help you develop interpersonal skills, consulting skills, communication skills, teamwork, and technical skills.

Requirements

Only active students will be considered.
Ideally someone who wants to pursue a career in IT and would like some exposure to Business Technology.
Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds to help configure, install and setup workstations with computers and monitors etc.
Great time management and communication skills.
Great attitude and a great team player.
Ability to drive to Company locations to work on projects (and be reimbursed for mileage), or ride with someone on our team.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Team with a project where we will be replacing PCs with new PCs at our resort locations in the Southern California region.
Assist with help desk requests to support our users with technical support needs.
Real-time triage experience with Level I help desk tickets (if time permits).
