About The Position

This role involves IT Healthcare consulting with a focus on Quality Assurance. The consultant will be responsible for translating business requirements and policy documentation into test cases and scenarios, building these into test systems, and executing testing activities. They will also be responsible for publishing status reports on open issues and gaps found during the testing phase and communicating these details to Development teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field (Years of experience can substitute for formal education).
• 3+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios.
• 3+ years building test cases and scenarios into test systems.
• Experience publishing status reports of all open issues and gaps found during test phase.
• Experience articulating details to Development teams.

Nice To Haves

• Technical and/or Project Management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
• 5+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience.
• Deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and business processes.
• Proficient in Atlassian tool suite including JIRA and Confluence.
• Prior experience working in a standard SDLC (Waterfall methodology) and in an Agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities
