About The Position

This role is for an IT Healthcare Consultant, functioning as a Project Manager and Project Lead. The position requires significant experience with state Medicaid systems, project management, systems integration, and data exchange. Familiarity with X12 Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) and Application Program Interfaces (API) is essential. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing their own equipment, as Lumen and/or its clients will not provide laptops or monitors. Access to a virtual desktop will be provided by Lumen's client.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or 5+ years of equivalent Project Manager experience.
• 5+ years working with state Medicaid systems.
• 3+ years as a Project Manager or similar role.
• 2+ years working with systems integration, data exchange, and/or data transformations.
• 1+ year working on large IT projects.
• 5+ years familiarity with X12 Electronic Data Interfaces (EDI) and Application Program Interfaces (API).

Nice To Haves

• Project Management Certification (PMP).
• 3+ years of Agile Product Owner skills.
