About The Position

The IT Field Support Specialist is responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance and support to end users across the organization. Candidates must be available to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6am-6pm, as determined by management. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance. This position is 100% Onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph security clearance.
High school/GED and 2 to 4 years of experience and Security+ Certification; or Associate’s degree in a technical field and 2 years of experience or a Bachelors’ degree in a technical field.
Expertise in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Windows 7 and 10.
Familiar with Active Directory security and policies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicles.
Must be available to work an 8-hour shift between the hours of 6am-6pm, as determined by management.
Must be Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) Compliant with an A+, Network+, or Security+ certification.

Responsibilities

Installing, repairing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
Installing Windows, software, applications, antivirus, and patches.
Reading and understanding technical manuals and schematics.
Managing time and priorities effectively.
Working efficiently with minimal supervision.
Working with end-users remotely.
Lifting up to 50 pounds. Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and periodic work in tight areas.
