About The Position

PPG Quality is looking for a hands-on IT and operations builder who wants to be part of our Career Development Program. This role involves learning automotive and aerospace manufacturing, supporting real plant operations, developing Microsoft apps, and evolving to become a major player with our agentic AI solutions for manufacturers. This is not a traditional help desk or computer operations position. You will work directly with operations leaders, manufacturing teams, and company leadership to improve real-world business operations using Microsoft technologies, automation, and AI-driven solutions. You will help shape the future of operational technology inside a rapidly growing company.

Requirements

Hands-on IT and Microsoft 365 / Power Apps experience.
A serious interest in AI and how it can be applied to real manufacturing and operational problems.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical people.
Comfort working in manufacturing plants.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel.

Responsibilities

Learn manufacturing from the inside, rotating through automotive, aerospace, and other manufacturing environments to understand how manufacturing and support really work.
Support field operations with technology, including Microsoft Power Apps.
Manage tablet and app readiness for operations across multiple locations.
Build Microsoft-based solutions, supporting Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel-based reporting, SharePoint workflows, and other Microsoft tools used by operations teams.
Act as the bridge between operations and technology by sitting in on meetings, understanding business needs, gathering requirements, explaining practical options, and driving follow-through until solutions work in the field.
Participate in the rollout of PPG Quality's agentic AI platform for manufacturing.
Solve problems, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving without needing constant direction.
