About The Position

PPG Quality is seeking a hands-on IT and operations builder for their Career Development Program. This role involves learning automotive and aerospace manufacturing, supporting plant operations, developing Microsoft applications, and evolving towards agentic AI solutions for manufacturers. It is not a traditional help desk or computer operations position, but rather an opportunity to work directly with operations leaders, manufacturing teams, and company leadership to improve business operations using Microsoft technologies, automation, and AI-driven solutions. The role aims to shape the future of operational technology within a growing company.

Requirements

Hands-on IT and Microsoft 365 / Power Apps experience.
A serious interest in AI and its application to manufacturing and operational problems.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Comfort working in manufacturing plants.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel.

Responsibilities

Learn manufacturing from the inside by rotating through automotive, aerospace, and other manufacturing environments.
Support field operations with technology, including Microsoft Power Apps.
Manage tablet and app readiness for operations across multiple locations.
Build Microsoft-based solutions, supporting Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel-based reporting, SharePoint workflows, and other Microsoft tools.
Act as a bridge between operations and technology by understanding business needs, gathering requirements, explaining options, and ensuring solutions are implemented.
Participate in the rollout of PPG Quality's agentic AI platform for manufacturing.
Solve problems, communicate clearly, and manage projects independently.
