Requirements

  • Required: HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 4 years of IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6 years of IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with Associate’s Degree
  • 8 years of IT, Epic, or healthcare experience with High School Diploma/GED
  • Certification in Epic’s Grand Central application required (and maintained per Epic guidelines).

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a computer or data related field
  • Preferred: IT Healthcare experience, Epic implementation experience

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize Epic revenue cycle applications that support operational goals, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities
  • Lead solution design efforts, collaborating with business, clinical, and IT partners to turn great ideas into practical, sustainable solutions
  • Analyze workflows and user needs, spotting opportunities to automate processes and improve how systems work day to day
  • Ensure systems are compliant and reliable, meeting regulatory and meaningful use requirements while supporting security, efficiency, and high availability
  • Juggle multiple initiatives like a pro, staying organized, proactive, and on track to hit milestones and deadlines
  • Translate complex concepts into clear stories, using strong communication and presentation skills to align diverse audiences
  • Mentor and support teammates, sharing knowledge and helping others grow across the Applications team
  • Champion collaboration and customer service, building tools and resources that empower providers, staff, and team members.
