About The Position

BRMi is seeking an IT Engineer - Network Administrator to manage and maintain an organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability. This role requires expertise in networking protocols and devices, proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs, and experience with network monitoring tools.

Requirements

• Experienced in managing Palo Alto firewalls (5+ years)
• Knowledgeable in conversation of layer 4 rules to layer 7 using userID and appID
• Understanding of creating custom appID’s
• Has managed Palo Alto infrastructure (upgrades, patches, configurations)
• Expertise in networking protocols and devices
• Proficiency in firewalls, routers, and VPNs
• Experience with network monitoring tools

Nice To Haves

• Experienced in managing Checkpoint firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Deployed Palo Alto firewalls in an IaaS environment
• Ability to leverage python scripts to automate tasks
