About The Position

The IT Developer collaborates with the IT department and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable, user-friendly web applications and software solutions that support business objectives and enhance the customer experience. The role uses technologies including AWS, Node.js, React, PHP, HTML, MySQL, and CSS. Experience with AI application development—including integrating large language models (LLMs), AI APIs, and AI-powered features into web applications—is highly preferred. The Developer is responsible for building and maintaining front-end and back-end applications, deploying services in AWS, integrating APIs and third-party services, and improving application performance, security, usability, and reliability. The position also includes technical documentation, stakeholder collaboration, and evaluation of emerging technologies and AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of professional web development experience, including full-stack application development.
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications.
A portfolio of completed projects demonstrating technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and software development expertise.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, application deployment, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party systems.
Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows.
Knowledge of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
Experience with application performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of web application security principles and secure coding practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience with eCommerce platforms, particularly Adobe Commerce (Magento).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Experience integrating enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, and third-party business systems.
Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and component-based architecture.
