About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and tech‑savvy IT Desktop Technician Intern to support our Information Technology Services team. This internship offers hands‑on experience providing front‑line technical support in a professional environment while learning how enterprise IT teams operate. This is a 20-hour per week, in-office internship opportunity that beings January 11th, 2026 and offers $15 per hour in compensation. We also offer flexible schedules to accommodate your school schedule, as well!

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to IT, Computer Science, or Information Systems
Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and common applications
Interest in hardware, troubleshooting, and customer support
Strong communication skills and a professional, service‑oriented mindset
Ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and learn quickly
Reliable, organized, and able to handle confidential information appropriately

Responsibilities

Provide basic desktop and end‑user support under the guidance of experienced IT professionals
Assist with setup, imaging, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and peripherals
Troubleshoot common hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
Support employee onboarding and offboarding by preparing and collecting equipment
Assist with ticket documentation and tracking in an IT service management system
Help maintain IT inventory and asset records
Shadow IT team members to learn troubleshooting techniques and best practices
Contribute to basic documentation and knowledge base updates
