About The Position

EquipmentShare is seeking an IT Deployment Technician for their Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. This role is crucial for transforming the construction industry through innovative technology. The position requires frequent travel (80%+) and overtime. The IT Deployment Technician will support the IT Network and Low Voltage Installation team, focusing on rip and replace projects, low voltage installation, and camera installation. This role is part of Equipment Share’s initiative to bring network and camera installations in-house, utilizing regional installation teams. Installers will travel to various job sites to complete low-voltage rough-in, network rack installation, wireless access point deployment, camera installation, ISP coordination, and final setup.

Requirements

Must be able to provide support to users with a professional, patient and polite attitude.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve on a regular basis.
Must be comfortable working independently.
Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to take direction from the Low Voltage Field Technician Team.
Willing to learn in a quick pace environment.
High School Diploma or Equivalent Education required.
Employees must have a clean driving record to perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

Assist in Network installation, including installing racks, switches, bridges, and access points.
Run low voltage cabling and pull old low voltage cabling.
Aid the Low Voltage Team in the on-prem installation process.
Perform site scans.
Assist Networking team with inventory and configuration.
Perform site clean-up upon completion.
