About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our IT Deployment Team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, configuration, and support of laptops across various TDOT locations. You will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure efficient deployment of technology assets while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- technical certifications a plus
- Prior experience in IT deployment, hardware installation, or similar role preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, and configure computers
- Prepare workstations, peripherals, and software for deployment
- Maintain accurate records of equipment deployment and status
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely
- Follow safety procedures and best practices during deployment activities
- Communicate effectively with end users and team members
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of deployment storage areas
- Travel to different TDOT sites as required, including travel across the state of Tennessee (travel expenses will be reimbursed by state guidelines)
