The co-op will help in developing solutions for the scientific business team and IT, while learning about the team and the company. Requirements

  • Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
  • Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
  • Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
  • Major must be related to the field of internship.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, including developing dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Experience in application development using Python, with knowledge in libraries and Python framework.
  • Understanding of agile methodology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL and Oracle/PostgreSQL is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Python, along with an understanding of Agile methodology and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities and knowledge of RDBMS such as MS SQL Server and Oracle/PostgreSQL.
  • Awareness of AI trends and emerging technologies.
  • Knowledge of Robotics Process Automation and automation tools.
  • Knack to provide technical solutions, given a problem statement.
  • Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to work independently and with team members.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with IT colleagues and stakeholders in the PharmTox area to understand and analyze their processes and needs.
  • Determine and gather requirements to present possible solutions or improvements.
  • Support project goals by participating on project teams.
  • Deliver on assigned tasks and action items working in an agile framework.
  • Develop tools and reports/data analysis routines for assigned systems.
  • Leverage and utilize knowledge of applications/systems and underlying architecture.
  • Maintain awareness of IT process best practices, technology trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Determine documentation requirements and produce documentation as required in support of baseline and project activities.
