About The Position

CIBC’s Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation team is hiring for Data Analyst Co-Ops! This is a great opportunity to be a part of a highly collaborative, agile team-based environment, solving problems to create meaningful change across the enterprise. The role applies comprehensive knowledge and skills to analyze data to support the design, implementation and evaluation of new segmentation strategies, monitor strategy performance, and recommend improvements based on results of the analysis. Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data/situations fully and accurately to guide or reach productive decisions using Sas, Python, Tableau, VBA/advanced Macros, Alteryx, ADO (Azure), Power BI.
  • Support the teams continuous improvement initiative with automation. Use your programming skills to enable business partners and innovate existing manual processes.
  • Use your skills to gather, clarify and apply information provided accurately and your critical thinking skills help you inform your decision making.
  • Understand, monitor, update and/or enhance existing business or work processes. Encourage a critical, fresh look at key processes and focus on maximizing organizational performance.
