About The Position

Join CIBC’s Technology Operations team and gain experience with project deliverables through collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. This role involves taking ownership of end-to-end delivery of Analytics integration components for assigned projects. You will solicit, analyze, and document requirements and user stories, ensuring they align with key business indicators, expected client journeys, and target success metrics. CIBC aims to provide an optimal work environment, and details about the work arrangement (on-site vs. remote) will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas and opinions that involve analysis, interpretation, and assessment.
  • Technical skills to review and evaluate data to find innovative opportunities and share with partners.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize competing priorities to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Curious and enjoy working in a team to visualize and design a possible new product or service and to assess the market, business and technical merits of that concept.

  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.
  • Skills in Automation, Data Analysis, JIRA Tool, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (BI), Project Management, Report Building, Tableau (Software).

  • Relevant UI/UX experience is an asset.

  • You enjoy the process of researching current processes and identifying improvements that will optimize or improve standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver Analytics requirements and work packages by working closely with various project stakeholders.
  • Suggest best practice recommendations for continuously improving Analytics integration across project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and continuously improve the Analytics delivery for all current and future projects.
  • Responsible for accurate, timely and consistent reporting & analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to develop automated ETL workflows to simplify operational tasks.
