This role is for an SAP Business Systems Analyst focused on Order-to-Cash and Supply Chain processes within our SAP platforms. You will be instrumental in solution design, configuration, and testing for Sales, Distribution, Logistics Execution, and Materials Management. This position requires close collaboration with various IT and business stakeholders across Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance (AR), and IT Integration teams. A key aspect of this role involves supporting our ERP Upgrade roadmap, including brownfield/greenfield transitions, fit-to-standard design, and ensuring consistent global ERP platform designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics / Operations Management, Finance/Accounting.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an IT-related field.
  • Basic understanding of Order to Cash, Supply Chain & logistics, and Inventory Concepts.
  • Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Ability.
  • Comfort with learning ERP systems (various versions of SAP and required technical aspects).
  • Understanding of how tables, master data, and configuration relate conceptually.
  • Strong Documentation & Communication Skills – able to document business and technical requirements, test scripts, and training materials.

Responsibilities

  • Function as part of the functional team for Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales orders, pricing, deliveries, shipping, billing, credit, and returns.
  • Support Supply Chain processes, covering procurement touchpoints, inventory, logistics execution, warehouse operations, and Available-to-Promise (ATP).
  • Drive fit-to-standard analysis, identify gaps, and design WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) for ERP programs.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP/Integration teams for build using various integration methodologies.
  • Configure various SAP modules, including Sales and Distribution, pricing, credit management, billing, tax, Logistics (delivery, picking, packing, PGI), shipping, and transportation basics.
  • Author and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts, manage defects, and oversee regression testing across releases.
  • Coordinate data migration activities (customers, materials, pricing, open orders/deliveries/billing), cutover plans, and go-live readiness.
  • Maintain process documentation, configuration runbooks, functional specifications, and training materials.
  • Adhere to Abbott's formal System Lifecycle (SLC) process.
  • Communicate project progress through project reports to provide timely and accurate status updates and decision support to Executive Management, IT Senior Management, business sponsors, and the project team.
