About The Position

Idaho Power is looking for a temporary IT Business Systems Analyst or Senior to join their Information Technology team. This role plays a critical part in serving communities across Idaho and Oregon by ensuring the safe, reliable, and affordable energy they depend on. The position is based at Idaho Power’s downtown Boise location, offering flexible schedules and the opportunity to work up to 40% remote. The IT Business Systems Analyst acts as a liaison between technologists and stakeholders, focusing on solution assessment, requirements elicitation, analysis, management, and communication. They possess an understanding of technology, applications, business processes, and information systems, translating these into solutions that align with IT strategy and business objectives. Responsibilities include assisting the business with defining and designing new solutions, testing and implementing processes and new functionality, and troubleshooting system and user issues.   • IT Business Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field OR An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications.
  • IT Business Systems Analyst: 2 or more years of professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 1 year of business analyst experience.
  • Senior IT Business Systems Analyst: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field OR An equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and/or certifications.
  • Senior IT Business Systems Analyst: 5 or more years professional level IT/business experience with a minimum of 3 years of business analyst experience.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
