As an IT Business Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of Tempus business systems and applications. This role requires a proactive and hands-on approach to ensure the seamless operations of IT systems, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical requirements.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • PowerShell Scripting, Source Control (Git), and automation platforms (e.g., Bamboo)
  • Microsoft 365 Administration (Including SharePoint, Purview, Defender, etc.)
  • Azure / Entra ID Administration
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Windows Server and Hyper-V
  • Basic Networking Concepts (Including DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • Bachelors

Nice To Haves

  • macOS and Jamf (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and monitor business‑critical systems, enterprise platforms, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and health checks to ensure stability and performance.
  • Remediate system‑level vulnerabilities through patching and configuration changes in coordination with Security.
  • Develop and maintain automation or scripts to support operational efficiency.
  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in accordance with access control and security standards.
  • Support access changes, reviews, and remediation activities as required.
  • Provide tier‑2/3 support for system‑related incidents and service requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to business systems and applications.
  • Configure and enhance systems to meet evolving business and operational requirements.
  • Participate in system changes, upgrades, and releases following established change management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business systems with other IT infrastructure components.
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations between business systems and other internal or third‑party platforms.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
  • Installs, configures and maintains mid-range operating systems.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems associated with servers, hardware and software.
  • Installs, configures and maintains operating hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoots networking and operating system problems.
  • Provides recommendations for hardware and software planning and budgeting related issues.
