About The Position

DB Insurance is seeking a proactive and solutions-driven IT Business Systems Administrator to support core system operations and enterprise IT functions. This role involves maintaining key systems such as the Assure Policy platform, managing change requests, ensuring data privacy compliance, coordinating with vendors, supporting UAT, and handling incident resolution and documentation. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in IT operations within the insurance industry, experience with similar platforms, knowledge of data privacy regulations, and strong communication and coordination skills.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in IT operations or core system management (3+ if within the insurance industry)
  • Experience operating Assure Policy, Assure Claims, Sapiens, or similar core insurance and business solution suites, such as: Guidewire Software (Guidewire Insurance Suite: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter), Duck Creek Technologies (Duck Creek Suite: Policy, Billing, Claims), Majesco (Majesco P&C Core Suite)
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws (CCPA, GDPR, etc.) and financial industry security regulations.
  • Proficiency in system change management and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to collaborate with external solution vendors and coordinate technical requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for collaborating with relevant departments (Accounting, Sales) and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Windows OS and MS Office suite; strong software troubleshooting and resolution capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Korean is preferred in order to communicate with our headquarters in South Korea.

Responsibilities

  • Actively utilize, manage, and maintain core operational platforms and insurance enterprise suites to ensure seamless integration
  • Ensure compliance with Americas' data privacy regulations (CCPA, NYDFS, etc.) and conduct regular audits.
  • Manage Project Change Requests (PCR) and provide technical support for new projects.
  • Handle technical communication and Service Level Agreement (SLA) management with external IT vendors, such as DXC.
  • Support the stabilization of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during system updates and functional enhancements.
  • Analyze root causes of system failures and manage resolution schedules.
  • Update and maintain system operation processes and security response manuals.
