About The Position

The IT Business Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and optimizing MCCU's critical business applications, including core banking, mortgage processing, and digital platforms. This role provides advanced application administration, user support, performance monitoring, and system configuration to ensure reliable and secure operations. The position works closely with business units, vendors, and the IT team to troubleshoot issues, lead system initiatives, support projects, and implement technology solutions that enhance employee and member experiences. The role also supports IT security controls, system integrations, technology documentation, software maintenance, audit requests, and operational continuity while serving as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in application management and administration.
  • Minimum of three years of experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems.
  • Experience managing user accounts, system configurations, and application settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of certifications and experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, SQL Server maintenance, and documentation tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across departments and with external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure business-critical applications remain available, secure, and optimized for employee use.
  • Provide advanced support and resolution for escalated technical and application issues.
  • Strengthen operational efficiency through system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements.
  • Support IT security initiatives, compliance requirements, and audit activities.
  • Build strong vendor partnerships to ensure reliable service, maintenance, and licensing management.
  • Deliver technology solutions that support MCCU employees and improve the member experience.
  • Provides responsive, dependable technical support that enables employees to work effectively and serve members efficiently.
  • Maintains detailed system documentation, carefully manages configurations, and follows IT security standards and procedures.
  • Takes ownership of system performance, support tickets, projects, and technology initiatives from start to finish.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve processes, optimize technology investments, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Partners with employees, vendors, and leadership to support secure, effective technology solutions while proactively escalating risks and improvement opportunities.
