About The Position

This position assists the Application Team with business analyst work for several web-based applications including WebEOC. Primary duties include collecting user requirements from end users, providing customer service and providing technical support. This position works closely with the programmers on the application development team and helps translate end user requests into meaningful product backlog items (PBI). Position also helps test new applications to find bugs, issues and document problems. This position is the lead for documenting requests on Github’s SCRUM board and creating Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in business consultation, process improvement, or requirement gathering in an information technology environment
Associate degree in business administration, computer science or any related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of related experience in an information technology environment
High School or GED and five years of related experience in an information technology environment
An equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

Significant experience training adult professionals on how to use web based applications
Experience collecting user requirements and documenting product backlog items in Github
Experience providing technical support to end users and responding to Zendesk tickets
Experience testing web based applications for responsive design and browser compatibility
Skilled in clearly communicating verbally and in written form
